Caroola Farm Permaculture Open Day – Call for Participation

IMG_6084Our Aim is

To host an open day at Caroola Farm celebrating permaculture, sustainability and local food /community resilience on Sunday 4 May 2014. The vision for the day is to provide a selection of permaculture talks on subjects such as garden design, water management, passive heating/solar, healthy animal husbandry and more… As well as farm tours, information tents, local produce for sale, food tastings and more.

Our Background

Caroola Farm is a new permaculture farm located on the Kings Highway at Mulloon. We are in the process of establishing forest gardens, integrated animals systems, tree systems, aquaculture, fruit and nut areas and holistic grazing. We have a range of systems already in place and quite a few on the go.

We are conveniently located between the two major centres of Palerang; Bungendore and Braidwood,  given our location and the  volume of traffic that utilises the highway we are keen to host a permaculture open day on Sunday 4 May inviting other local producers, permaculturalists and sustainability related businesses to attend.
