Apart from the amazing rain falling at the moment…
This week on the farm we are harvesting:
Lovely lettuces, radishes, almost the end of the kale, broad beans, brocollini, garlic (young, as it is a little too wet to harvest the whole lot for drying), garlic scapes (yum!), limited beetroots and a few turnips.

Caroola Farm will be having an Open Day on Sunday 3 May 2015 with local produce stalls, information stalls, talks from various sustainable farming and living organisations plus 3 farm tours.
Our next Open Day is Sunday 3 May from 10am until 4pm. Followed by dinner (limited bookings) of Caroola Farm Produce at Le Tres Bon in Bungendore at 6pm (booking separate and direct with Le Tres Bon on (02) 6238 0662).
We will have a range of guest speakers (yet to be announced) doing short presentations on the hour every hour, plus regional produce for sale from a variety of producers.
Farm tour bookings are essential (tours at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm).
