What’s On

Caroola Farm is always busy – whilst we aim to take time out at least twice a year, that does not mean the action stops – we don’t leave the farm without organising farm managers to look after it in our absence.

There are chickens to feed and water, cattle to move, sheep to move, pigs to feed and of course the dogs. Let alone looking after the vegetable, watering the forest gardens and looking after the paddock trees… Whew!!!!

Dear Penny, I was copied into correspondence you had with David Johnson, Centre Director of SWQC late last year. David and Trish have headed home and we have a new Director, Tracy Bourne. I lead 4 seasonal gardening weeks at SWQC each year. I incorporate some learning presentations as well as practical work and teaching in the orchards and gardens. I am looking at your forthcoming events on your website, and would like to express an interest in the Gardening group coming to an open day or a tour in Winter or Spring. It would be up to 12 people. The dates are set as 3-9/7 and 16-22/10. I’d be pleased to hear whether you think something could be possible.
It sounds like you would be a great example to us!

Helen, apologies, I have only just seen this request – we’d be happy to have your gardening group here for a tour at some stage. Best to email me on penny (at) caroolafarm.com.au
